Jay Chennault is the recipient of the 2018 Lou Lepp Employee Excellence Award. Jay works out of our Mt. Vernon office in the hydrogeology group, specializing in groundwater and surfacewater monitoring. Jay has become a significant leader within the department and has been instrumental in acquiring multiple high-profile projects. A fantastic employee and overall great guy, Jay has continually gone above and beyond what is asked of him. Jay’s commitment to quality service, leadership, and excellence embodies the spirit of the Lou Lepp Award.
In 1981 AESI was founded by the late geologist, Lou Lepp. Lou’s vision was to integrate or associate the sciences of geology, hydrogeology and the environment with the form and structure of geotechnical engineering. Lou held the idea that quality staff was a fundamental part of a successful company. To honor his commitment to excellence, the Lou Lepp Employee Excellence Award allows us to recognize exceptional employees, who like Lou are an inspiration to employees as well as clients.
